How to build a $1bn wind farm in the UK

Construction estimator Turner Construction is planning to start work on a wind farm on the outskirts of the city of Oxford in southern England.

The company said on its website that the $1.2bn windfarm will help “build on the legacy of its award-winning design and achieve cost savings”.

The project, which is expected to take up to two years, will generate power for around 1,500 homes.

It will be completed by 2025.

The site will be owned by the UK Government and Turner has plans to develop the site into a high-speed rail line and a solar farm.

The project is part of a larger strategy by Turner to build renewable energy projects in the south-east of the UK.

In 2014, the company said it would invest £100m in renewable energy in Oxfordshire.

In 2017, it opened a wind turbine manufacturing facility in Oxford.
